OUR MISSION
To enhance Central Point's livability by improving our community's parks, natural areas, and recreation programs thus providing increased access and opportunities for all.
At the Central Point Parks and Recreation Foundation, we strive to enhance the quality of life for all the people of Central Point and surrounding communities. We believe in the value and benefits of parks and recreation opportunities, and we work to promote and support them in our area. There are many ways you can help us achieve our mission. You can make a donation, volunteer your time, or get involved in one of our many projects and events. Every little bit helps, and we appreciate your support.
LATEST NEWS!
The Central Point Parks and Recreation Foundation held a planting day on Saturday, October 11 and a mulching day on Saturday, October 18 at the Flanagan Park Pollinator Garden site and both events were a great success! We had wonderful turnout from the park neighborhood and a lot of help from Shooting Star Nursery and Rolling Hills Landscape and Irrigation. Over 200 pollinator plants were planted and 15 yards of mulch spread.
This was a huge undertaking for the foundation and we are thrilled by the level of support we've received. The neighborhood has committed to long term care of the garden. While the foundation provided the majority of the funding, we also received funding support from the Pacific Power Foundation and individual donors.
