
Discover Your Central Point Parks and Recreation Foundation
The Central Point Parks and Recreation Foundation is an independent 501(c)3 organization that was formed in 2006. The foundation exists to raise funds and support Central Point Parks and Recreation Department projects, programs and facilities.
Mission Statement: To enhance Central Point's livability by improving our community's parks, natural areas, and recreation programs thus providing increased access and opportunities for all.
To date, the Foundation has raised funds and coordinated volunteer support for the following projects and programs:

Purchase of park signs and benches

“Plant a Thousand Daffodils” program volunteers planted 7,000 daffodil bulbs in local parks and other public areas.

Scholarships for Recreation programs

Central Point Cemetery Improvements.

Flannagan Park Pollinator Garden.

Flags and Memorial Plaques.

“My Veterans/My Hero Tribute Tree Program”

Enhancements to recreational activities and events,
Join Us!
Our Board meets three to four times a year with board members participating in many of the city’s special events. We are currently seeking additional volunteers to serve as board members with this fun, energetic group that is dedicated to enhancing our beautiful parks and recreational activities.
